Władysław Zakrzewski (Pakość 1903 - 1944) - Polish painter and graphic artist. In the years 1922-1924 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, in the studio of Władysław Jarocki and Józef Pankiewicz. In 1926-1930 he studied at the private painting academies in Paris. He traveled to Constantinople, Hungary, Romania, Yugoslavia, Greece and Italy. In the years 1932-1937 he studied graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in the atelier of Jan Wojnarski. Since 1932 he made only graphics. He practiced metal techniques (copper engraving, etching, aquatint) single and multi-colored. The most popular themes of the artist's works were the architecture of Polish cities. He made a graphics series like a: Cycle of Silesia, Cycle of Sea, Warsaw, Lviv, Cracow and others.
