Attribution: Stefan Norblin (Warsaw 1892 - 1952 San Francisco) – Polish artist, painter, caricaturist, illustrator and poster artist, interior, architecture and fashion designer. He created, among others, modernist and Art Nouveau advertising posters and art deco paintings. He studied painting in Antwerp and Dresden. During the occupation, he lived in the United States. During World War II, Norblin stayed in Persia, and then in India, where he made a series of paintings decorating the interior of Umaid Bhawan's palace for the Maharaja of Jodhpur Umaid Singh .After the war, he settled permanently in the United States.
