Otto Hausknecht (Vienna 1851 - 1908 Vienna) painter. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Carl Wurzinger and Christian Griepenkerl. He created mainly portraits, genre scenes from village and city lifes in Austria and landscape and scenes from European travel, especially Italy. His paintings were characteristic bright and warm colors, delicate lighting and great details.
