Ludomir Szpadkowski (Derbent 1855-1908 Warszawa) Polish painter, professor. From 1858 he lived in Warsaw, where he graduated from high school. In the years 1877-1883 he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Kraków under the supervision of Izydor Jabłoński, Władysław Łuszczkiewicz, Florian Cynk and Ferndynand Löffler. In 1877 he was in the Carpathians, in 1878 in Vienna and Tyrol, and in 1879 in Munich. In 1880 he was in Hungary, where he participated in the unveiling of the Józef Bem monument in Maros Vaserhely in Transylvania. He exhibited in 1883 at the Kraków TPSP, and from 1885 at the Krywult Salon and TZSP in Warsaw. He took part in a temporary exhibition of works of art in Łódź in 1889. In 1899 he was one of the founders of the company United Artists Painters, Sculptors and Architects, established in Warsaw to promote decorative and religious art. He is buried in Powązki in Warsaw. His works are rare on the antique market.
