Kalina Szydłowska-Pawłowicz (Warszawa 1924–2011) during the war, she was involved in the underground resistance and the Grey Ranks, which trained members of a small-scale sabotage group. After the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, she volunteered to help as a medic. After the war, she went to study in Kraków. She graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Professor Eugeniusz Eibisch. She traveled extensively across Europe, visiting museums and galleries. She worked in oils. She held several solo and group exhibitions, including at the Historical Museum in Warsaw and three times in Stawisko (1997, 2000, 2008).
