Igor Talwiński (Warsaw 1907 - 1983 Paris) – Polish painter, active in France. He was mobilized in September 1939 and was taken prisoner by the Germans. After liberation from the POW camp in 1945, he settled in Paris. There he learned the craft of painting. From 1951, he exhibited at the Paris Salon. He also presented his paintings at individual exhibitions in London and New York. He painted mainly portraits and acts of young girls in a style similar to advertising graphics. He left numerous paintings dispersed in private collections. Many of his paintings appear in the auctions of painting.
