Józef Ryszkiewicz (1856 - 1925) - Polish painter. He studied painting in the Warsaw Drawing Class (under the direction of Wojciech Gerson and Cyprian Lachnicki), he continued his studies from 1875 at the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg in the workshop of Bogdan Willewald and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He mainly painted landscapes, battle, genre and historical scenes.
