Józef Fara (Tarnopol 1908 - 1973) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Alfred Terlecki and Hanna Rudzka-Cybisowa. He lived in Zakopane, which was often motif in his paintings, especially landscapes from Tatra Mountains. He used oil paints and watercolor.
