Jerzy Gnatowski (Łomża 1929- 2012 Lublin) – Polish painter. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, where he later taught painting techniques and the art of copying. From 1955 he exhibited prints, drawings, watercolors, tempera works, and oil paintings. He painted primarily landscapes. He lived for many years in Kazimierz Dolny, having moved there from Warsaw. Over the course of his career, he held more than 80 solo exhibitions and participated in dozens of group shows in Poland and abroad. He received numerous awards and distinctions, and his works are held in both museum and private collections. He was a member of the British and Royal Academies of Watercolor.
