Janusz Bersz (Poznań 1925 - 1985 Poznań) studied in France in the studio of prof. Souverbie, at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris (1945), and after returning to Poland, he continued his studies in the studio of prof. E. Wasilkowski and at the Poznań State School of Fine Arts (1947 - 1950). The most creative period of his activity was the late 1950s and 1960s. He participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions, winning significant awards.
