Jan Antoni Karczewski (Warszawa 1931 - 2017 Warszawa) Polish painter, member of ZPAP, in 1977-1981 assistant professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, In 1986-1988 director of the Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle. In the years 1950–1955 he studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
