Ignacy Zelek (Turaszówka 1894 - 1961 Toruń) – Polish sculptor. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in the studio of Konstanty Laszczka. During World War I he was in the The Polish Legions. In 1916 he was in hospital in Prague. In this time he took the lessons at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the atelier of Josef Václav Myslbek. After the war he continued studies in Kraków. In 1920 he moved to Toruń, where with sculptor Wojciech Aleksander Durek runed own workshop. In 1920’s he created pastel portraits of his family. Many of his sculptures were destroyed during World War II.
