Gottfried Arnegger (Vienna 1908 - 1943) was the son of the famous landscape painter Alois Arnegger (1879–1967). Gottfried was a student of his own father and always accompanied him on trips to South Tyrol, Switzerland and Italy, where both artists painted picturesque views of Lake Garda, Lago di Maggiore and Como, as well as seaside views of Naples, San Remo and Capri.
