Georg Lebrecht (Świdnica 1874-1945 Berlin) – was a painter and illustrator of the first half of the 20th century, best known for his paintings with horses. He studied at the painting academy in Stuttgart. In 1938 he became a professor. He painted landscapes, hunting and battle scenes. He cooperated with publishing houses as a book illustrator, including the L. Heege publishing house from Świdnica.
