Willy Zügel (Munich 1876 - 1950 Wolkenhof) - sculptor, creator of animal figurines, profesor at Munich Academy. Fondness to the animalist art he inherited after his father - Heinrich von Zügel (1850 Murrhardt -1941 Munich). Willy studied sculpture at the Munich Academy. In 1913 he received a gold medal at the international exhibition in Munich.Works of Zügel are among others in Stuttgart parliament, National Gallery in Berlin, Budapest and Munich. He was creating figures in bronze and models for excellent porcelain factories: Rosenthal, Nymphenburg or Meissen.
