Aleksander Sołtan (1903-1994) - studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where in 1937 he obtained a diploma. He was a member of ZAIKS. He dealt with the workshop graphics (lithography): drawing: functional graphics. He presented his works at the TZSP Jubilee Salon (1935), Zachęta's Fine Art Exhibition (1960,1962,1964). Winner of numerous awards such as: Medal Silver Jubilee Salon TZSP: 3rd prize at the exhibition "Artists in the fight for peace" competition distinction at the Graf Exhibition. Maritime theme. The collections can be found in the Jagiellonian Library, Krakow, the National Museum, the Historical Museum, and the Museum. Wyczółkowski, Museum of Western Pomerania.
