Adam Setkowicz (Krakow 1875 - 1945 Krakow) - Polish painter. A popular landscape painter. In the years 1897-1898 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in the studio's of Teodor Axentowicz and Jan Matejko. He painted scenes from the life of the Polish countryside: sleigh rides, hunting, folk customs, forest landscapes. He painted views of Krakow architecture, allegorical scenes and paintings about Judaic themes.
