Władysław Chmieliński (1911-1979) was a painter connected with Warsaw, where he lived and worked. In the years 1926-1931 he studied at the Warsaw Municipal School of Decorative Arts and Painting. The main theme of his paintings were city views. He created oil and watercolors paintings. He made a series watercolors paintings of Polish architecture, among other things interiors of the Royal Castle in Warsaw and the Wilanów Palace. The artist also used the pseudonym "Władysław Stachowicz".
