Władysław Borowicki(1909 - 1997) Polish genre painter. In Cracow he had a contact with atelier of Wojciech Kossak. As a not fully-fledged student, he started studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He studied in the studios of prof. E. Eibisch and Z. Radnicki. From 1951, he was a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. He painted scenes from the Napoleonic wars, the Polish army and folk rituals. Horses was a most popular theme of his paintings.
