Władimir Aleksandrowicz Sokołow ( Winogradnoje 1923 - 1997 Symferopol ) – Ukrainian painter, student of Mykola Stepanovych Barsamov . He lived and worked in Crimea. Member of the Union of Ukrainian Artists of the SSR (since 1960). In 1940, he joined the art studio of Aivazovsky and studied there until 1949. After graduating from the studio, Vladimir entered the Simferopol Art School, under the supervision of N. S. Samokish at the painting faculty, where he studied from 1949 to 1952.
