Wilhelm Gdanietz (1893 – 1962) German painter and graphic artist. He studied in Düsseldorf in the studios of Claus Meyer, Eduard von Gebhardt, Willy Spatz, and Franz Kiederich. He traveled a lot to Netherlands. He probably travel to the Jerusalem (he painted scene from the Jewish life). He was a member of few art society in Düsseldorf. Gdanietz created more genre scenes about Netherlands life. He made realistic paintings with numerous details. He painted also portraits, still lifes and landscapes.
