Wacław Bernard Szczeblewski (Pelplin 1888 - 1965 Gdynia) - Polish painter and sculptor. In 1908 he began his studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden. He studied with professors Wehle and Stert, Schindler. Muller Bantzer, Kuhl, Hofmann. He traveled to Paris, London, Vienna, Leipzig, Copenhagen and Munich, where he also exhibited his works. He took part in a number of exhibitions, in 1919 he received the Dresden Academy Award, in 1927 a distinction at the London exhibition. During the occupation he was involved in the underground activities of the Grey Ranks. From 1933 he organized the Art School in Gdynia, and then became its director.
