Stanisław Masłowski (Włodawa 1853 - 1926 Warsaw) - he was a disciple of Wojciech Gerson and Antoni Kamieński at Warsaw Academy. After studies he moved to Warsaw for good. He travelled to Ukraine (in years 1875-86) a lot. Fascinated by local landscapes and folklore, he painted many genre scenes with Cossacks. In 1886 he was in Munich, after 1900 he travelled to Italy and to Paris. He was a member of artistic groups - TZSP, Sztuka, Pro Arte. He painted mostly genre scenes and landscapes.
