Stanisław Gibiński (1882-1971) - was a watercolor Polish painter; he painted landscapes, village genre scenes, fishermen or hunting, which he most often depicted in a snowy, winter landscape. He often participated in hunting and he knew the subject perfectly well. He also painted marshes, backwaters, autumn landscapes. His paintings clearly show inspiration from the art of Fałat and also by Wyczółkowski and painters of the Cracow school of landscape. The artist has participated many times in the exhibitions.
