Walker & Hall - Silversmiths and metal workers. Founded in Sheffield in 1845 as Walker & Co by George Walker and Henry Hall. Between 1848 and 1953 the firm was known as Walker, Coulson & Hall. In 1963 the company merged with Mappin and Webb as well as Elkington to form British Silverware Ltd which closed in 1971. Since then the firm has been a subsidiary of Mappin & Webb and member of Sears Holdings Ltd.
