Crown of Thorns plaque, plated, signed, framed with gilded bronze with decorative two corals pendant, 30x17 cm.
Raoul Lamourdedieu (Faugerolles 1877 - 1953 Pierrefonds) - in age of 17 he started education in Academy of Fine Arts in Bordeaux. At the same time he started learning wood sculpturing. In 1900 he made a sculpture for Grand Palais in Paris. In 1930 he became a professor of fine arts. He was inspired by output of Rodin.
