Mieczysław Reyzner (Lviv 1861 - 1941 Lviv) – Polish painter. In 1880 he left to Vienna, where he studied paintings at the Academy of Fine Arts. Then he continued studies in Munich, and in 1886 he came back to Lviv. In 1888 he came to Paris. Nearby the Jardin du Luxembourg he opened his own workshop, where he painted portraits and landscapes. He participated in Salon d'Automne. His works were exhibited at the international exhibitions in Berlin, Munich and Vienna. In 1889 at the World's Fair he showed three symbolic works depicting Morning, Noon and Night, that later became his one of the most popular paintings. When he was living in France he travelled to the seaside, to Bretagne, where he painted marines. In 1892 he created a series of portraits with elderly people, Reyzner returned to the end of his creative work to this subject. In 1894 he took part in Lviv exhibition, where he was awarded with a medal. Three years later he came back to Lviv for good. Later he travelled to Denmark and Holland. He participated in exhibitions organized by Lviv and Cracow Society of Friends of Fine Arts and in Zachęta and in Krywult Gallery in Warsaw.
