Michel Léonard Béguin (Uxeau 1855 - 1929 Paris) - french sculptor. He studied at the Academy of Paris, under the supervision of Aimé Millet and Auguste Dumont. In 1878 he was awarded at the Salon of French Artists, many times awarded with medals. He is considered one of the precursors of the Art Noveau trend. He made mainly full-scale allegorical statues and busts.
