Marian Malina (Sosnowiec 1922 - 1985 Sosnowiec) – in the 1945-1948 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in the studios of Jerzy Fedkowicz, Konrad Srzednicki and Andrzej Jurkiewicz. Next he started work at alma mater in the Lithography studio run by Konrad Srzednicki. He worked at the Graphic Department to 1962. He created graphics (woodcuts, linocuts and his own technique – Celluloid prints) and paintings. Marian Malina was member of the many groups for example: International Association of Linocut creators XYLON in Switzerland. He participated in all editions of International Biennial of Graphics and in many solo and group exhibitions. He got awards and honors in 1948, 1952, 1956,1972. His works are in numerous museum’s collections in the country and abroad.
