Magdalena Spasowicz (1927) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the studios of Jan Cybis and Tadeusz Kulisiewicz (diploma 1953). Her works are in National Museum in Warsaw and Wrocław, Museum of Warsaw, Polish Army Museum, Polish Museum of America, Vatican Museum and in private collections in Poland and abroad. Artist exhibited in Warsaw, London, Malaga, Berlin, Tripoli, Washington, Regensburg, Braunschweig, Leipzig, Bratislava, Kappelrodeck. Most of her paintings are monochrome landscapes. Her works are inspired by Impressionism, and French painters such as Pissarro or Utrillo.
