Konstanty Szewczenko (1910-1991) Polish painter. He studied in the atelier of Felicjan Kowarski and Tadeusz Pruszkowski in the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1928-32). He painted mainly genre scenes and portraits. He also dealt with scenography: in 1934-35 he worked in the Variety Theatre in Warsaw. He also collaborated with the publishing house "Atlas" in Lviv, and also posted illustrations in the "Morning Courier". He is the author of portraits of Ignacy Mościcki, Edward Rydz-Śmigły, he created a series entitled: Polish regional types and Semitic types. He exhibited in Poland and abroad. His works are in the collection of the Polish Army Museum.
