Kazimierz Wąsowicz(Dębowiec 1888 - 1962 Warszawa) studied at the Higher School of Industry and the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (1908-1912). He continued his artistic studies in Paris at the Académie de Beaux-Arts. He co-founded the General Association of Visual Artists in Kraków in 1910 and the Podhale Association of Polish Visual Artists in Zakopane. He painted landscapes, often from the Zakopane and Podhale regions, portraits, and battle scenes. He also worked in printmaking, primarily lithography.
