Józef Popczyk (Brzeziny 1890-1971 Chorzów) - graduated in architecture from the Lviv Polytechnic. He traveled to Paris in 1910 and 1920, he also traveled to Venice and England, where he deepened his painting studies. He painted post-impressionist landscapes, cubist compositions and abstractions.
