Józef Pieniążek (Pychowice 1888 - 1953 Kraków) –Polish painter, graphic artist, teacher. In the years 1908–1913 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in the studios of: Józef Pankiewicz, Leon Wyczółkowski and Wojciech Weiss. In the years 1925–1938 he participated in many exhibitions. He specialized in copperplate graphics on landscape and architecture. He also created watercolors depicting the folk culture of the Polish highlanders of Podhale, Spisz, Orawa and Żywiec.
