Jan Erazm Kotowski (Opatkowiczki 1885 - 1960 Milanówek)in the years 1902-1911 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of J.Unierzyski and L. Wyczółkowski. In 1908 he traveled to Paris. He was a member of the group "Pro-Arte". He painted village landscapes, city views, genre scenes, and horses. His works are in the collections in the Museum in Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań and Łódź.
