Franciszek Cieśla (born 1895) - Polish painter, active in the interwar period, lecturer. He was a student of the State School of Artistic Industry in Krakow in the years 1926/27-1928/29. In 1930, he was admitted as an external student to the final examination in drawing at the State Examination Commission operating at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He exhibited his works in Kraków (1925) and Warsaw (1930). In 1930 he lived in Kraków, and in 1931 in Nakło, where he was a lecturer of drawing.
