Ferenc Heverdle (Buda 1841 - 1910 Budapest) - Hungarian painter of genre scenes, landscapes and floral still lifes. Initially, he studied drawing in Budapest, then studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna (1861-1863). He spent several years in Constantinople. After returning, in 1868, he worked as a drawing teacher in Ukrainian Uzhhorod. In 1884 he exhibited his works (genre scenes and portraits) in the Műcsarnokban gallery. He was then a very popular artist. Heverdle's paintings can be found in the National Museum in Budapest.
