Erno Izaak Erb (Lviv 1878 - 1942 Lviv) -Polish painter of Jewish origin, connected with Lviv art circle. He was created during modernism and the interwar period. He painted city motifs, genre scenes, open air markets, portraits of Ukrainian peasants and Jews, landscapes and still lifes. He used pastels, watercolors, but mostly oil. His oil works with rich texture of paints were compared to works of German artist Max Lieberman. Erb exhibited many times at Lviv and Cracow Society of Friends of Fine Arts and at Zachęta in Warsaw.
