Dariusz Wąsowicz (1910 - 1970) - he studied at the Institut Supérieur de Commerce de l'Etat in Antwerp in 1931, obtaining a diploma from this university. Then - in the years 1935-1939 - he studied at the Faculty of Art History at the University of Warsaw, and in 1939-1944 at the private studio of Rafał Wąsowicz in Warsaw. He visited Belgium, he also traveled to Great Britain. In the years 1951-1955 he managed the Graphics Studio of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers from the Warsaw branch. He painted oil and watercolors, he also dealt with graphic design (autolithography and metal techniques). He created landscapes, vedas, still lifes; he was the author of several graphic cycles (Old Warsaw) and paintings (Polish Countryside and Work). He participated in many group exhibitions, including at the 1st National Exhibition of Fine Arts in 1954 in Radom or at the 1st Biennale of Graphics in 1960 Krakow, he often exhibited in Warsaw galleries. His works are, among others in the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw, Ossolineum in Wrocław, in St. Philomena's School Carshalton in England.
