Czesław Rzepiński (Strusów 1905 - 1995 Kraków) – polish painter, lecturer, colorist. In the years 1926–1929 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in the studios of Władysław Jarocki, Wojciech Weiss, Felicjan Kowarski. From 1929 he continued education in Paris under Józef Pankiewicz. He was a member of the art group “ Zwornik”. In 1937 with Józef Jarema founded the Art school in Katowice. In 1948 he was professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He also was a rector in the years 1954-1967. He painted landscapes, still lifes, portraits and figural compositions. He has many solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
