Bolesław Kudewicz (1887 Lviv - 1957 Kłodzko) - he studied at the school of painting of Stanisław Kaczor Batowski in Lviv. Then he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków under Stanisław Dębicki and Jacek Malczewski. After the First World War he taught a drawing in Krzemieniec. He worked as a set designer in theaters in Lviv, Lublin and Krakow. In 1924 he settled in Łódź. In 1925 and 1931 he went to France and in 1928 and 1935 to Italy. In the years from 1930 to 1933 he managed the scenography studio at the Municipal Theater in Łódź. He also designed fabrics and posters. Together with Władysław Strzemiński and Karol Hiller, he taught in 1932 on painting courses for craftsmen of drawing, perspectives, aesthetics of interiors, costumes of theatrical painting and furniture compositions. During World War II, he stayed in Lwów and Kamieniec Podolski and painted portraits. In 1946, he lived briefly in Krakow, then settled in Kłodzko. He took part in exhibitions at the Krakow Society of Friends of Fine Arts in 1912 and 1928, in Lviv in 1913 and 1917, and in Łódź in 1924 at the Municipal Art Gallery and 1926 at the Łodzian Group exhibition. He painted landscapes, still lifes and portraits.
