Błażej Iwanowski (Jabłonna 1889 - 1966 Warsaw) - he took first lessons of drawing and painting with Feliks Roliński, Władimir Dymitrow and Bronisław Kowalewski, in 1907 he began a three-year education at the Drawing School, where his lecturers were, among others, Jan Kauzik and Miłosz Kotarbiński. From 1910 to 1912 he was a student at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts under the direction of Stanisław Lentz. Błażej Iwanowski was a member of the "Zachęta" Group, the association of artists: "Zespół", Związek Niezależni and Warsaw Art Society. From 1921 he participated in group exhibitions organized by the Warsaw Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts, in 1927 he received the Honorable Mention. He also exhibited with the Krakow Society of Friends of Fine Arts, as well as in Poznań, and after 1945 also in Sopot. He created still lifes, as well as paintings depicting interiors, among others The Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Wawel Castle and the Malbork Castle. He rarely created portraits and genre scenes.
