Charles Schneider (1881-1953) - french master of Art Deco glass, called magician of color. Founder of "La Verre Francais" company. After gaining skills in the field of glass production in the Daum Brothers company in Nancy, together with his brother Ernest he founded his own glassworks company in 1913. Thanks to great projects, he was soon very successful. In the 1920s his works were already sold all over the world. He created mainly vases and lamps, using unusual color compositions. Each of his works is a real, unique work of art. They delight with beautiful colors, diversity and originality of forms. The backlit ones look particularly impressive. Schneider designed the highest quality laminated glass vases, called Cameo. All his works were usually signed with the words "Schneider", "La Verre Francais" or "Charder" (compilation of parts of the words "Charles" and Schneider ".) Today, Schneider's artistic products are highly sought after by collectors, and on professional art auctions they reach dizzying amounts.
