Aleksander Mroczkowski (Kraków 1850 - 1927 Stubno) – Polish painter. In the years 1865-1873 he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Krakow in the studio of Władysław Łuszczkiewicz, Feliks Szynalewski and Leon Dembowski, and then in the years 1873-1877 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich in the studio of Alexander Wagner and Otto Seitz. After returning to Krakow, Mroczkowski studied at the School of Fine Arts under Jan Matejko. He created in a realistic style, Tatra landscapes and rural landscapes, portraits, genre scenes, historical and sacred compositions.
