Adam Wiktor Malinowski (1829 - 1892) - Polish painter and theatre decorator. From 1851 he worked in the Warsaw decoration studio of the Government Theatres under the direction of Antoni Sachetti and Józef Hilary Głowacki. From 1864 he worked in Vienna as a decorator of imperial theatres, and in 1873 he became the chief decorator of the Warsaw Theatres. He painted mainly landscapes, genre scenes and portraits. He took part in many exhibitions, primarily at the Zachęta Gallery in Warsaw (from 1863 about 90 paintings), as well as at the Krywult Salon and at the Kraków TPSP.
